Norbert Sykes: Norbert is Badger's legal identity. He usually appears in situations that evoke his military history.
Badger: Badger is Norbert's most common identity, the costumed vigilante who talks with animals and practices various martial arts.
Pierre: Homicidal personality, speaking with a French accent (in English). First appeared in the jungles of Vietnam following Norbert's escape from the Pathet Lao.
Leroy: Personality of a dog. As a child, Norbert had a dog named Leroy, which his stepfather Larry beat to death with a tire iron.
Emily: Personality of a passive nine-year-old girl. Evokes childhood abuse at hands of stepfather.
Gastineau Grover Depaul: Personality of an inner-city African-American. Origin unknown.
Max Swell: Architect; connoisseur of the arts; intermittently either an urbane playboy (in earlier stories) or a stereotypical gay male. Origin unknown.
